Sopot’s oldest historic site
The Polish word “grodzisko” means the remains of a stronghold, or an old fortified settlement. At the open-air museum you can see a palisade, gate, huts, a forge and a goat enclosure. The settlement stands on a moraine hill among mature trees.
Below the hill, beside a pond, a Stone Age camp brings prehistoric times to life.
The exhibition pavilion houses archaeological exhibitions.
